Marinee Tashdjian began playing the piano at the age of nine. She grew up in a musical family who has a great appreciation for music and the arts. Marinee knew from a young age that she wanted to have a career in music that involved working with kids and wanted to share her love and passion of music in hope of them growing up and having a greater appreciation and knowledge of music. At the age of eighteen, she began to teach piano while studying for her Bachelor’s Degree in Piano and has been working with kids from age four and a half to adults since 2001. Her pedagogy style begins with fun finger exercises to build strength and technique followed by songs and later classical pieces, coupled with focused attention on posture, rhythmic accuracy and stylistic precision. Ms. Tashdjian has been working at Pascale Method Institute since 2014.
